The ALPC Side Plate Pockets are designed to be as thin as possible, while also providing excellent support for any side plate. The pockets are backed with spacer mesh for comfort and breathability. The cummerbund feeds inside between the laser cut MOLLE Cordura panel and spacer mesh (around the outside of the plate so it is pulled against the body). There are two strips of 1.5" hook on the inside of the pocket that interface with the pals loop panel on the ALPC MOLLE Cummerbund to secure it in the exact position you like.

Side Plate Pockets
I picked up a set of these pockets with the ALPC to hold a set of 6x6 side plates. Gadsden Dynamics was willing to customize the pockets to fit my plates and they work great. The customer service is seriously great and the plate carrier with side plates are all that I can ask for. The pockets hold the side plates firm and they don’t move around when training or when on duty. Thank you Gadsden Dynamics for making an affordable, quality product.
